Anyone got Wifi Tether working yet? I flashed the new wimax but that did nothing. My 3g speeds are the same, wifi tether dont work. I didn't notice any change..

How can I confirm the new wimax radio flashed and stuck..?

There are reports that a modded kernel is helping with wireless tether but otherwise it's just hit or miss (mainly miss) for most users.

If you know adb:
In adb shell type
wimax_mtd

This will tell you your wimax version. It should be 26023

Wow I'm like 30 pages behind, lol. Well there is no chance I am catching up so hopefully I haven't missed much.

I tried to catch up and read a few pages. I see OMJ released a froyo ROM, but unfortunately tethering doesn't work. Looks like 4G works though.

I think I'll wait for the next one and hopefully tethering will work. Plus that way I can probably start from here and keep up and won't have to read the 30 pages I missed since yesterday, lol.

Hey yall i been using froyo 2.2 ... since it was release and i been having issues like...

1. The phone is kinda slow sometimes..
2.the Market. Is having issues it crashes
3. I was using wifi (home ) sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt work
4. The interner frezees like right now. While im typing its super slow!
5.Some programs crash and i have to either force close or reboot
6.My phone gets hot sometimes .

Is skmebody else having this issues

If that were me I'd wipe and reinstall...if it were me. Just sayin'

I can confirm netarachy's kernel got wireless tethering working for me \\:D/
52-53 fps
Camera 3MP (for now)
Some users can just flash it. Some need a cache and dalvik wipe. I needed a full wipe (factory reset). Small price to pay IMO.
That's why god invented Titanium Backup lol.

Hey since we r using the leaked version. Do you know if in aug 3rd the update would be better??

Hey guys i got the hdmi cable to work.

BUT when i watch my videos and try to turn the screen off. It loses signal so im guessing we have to leave the screen on:-( ..That really sucks because it makes ur battery die faster!!..
