I've been on 1.7 (28014) with the tsowen taskbar for a while now. No problems here.

can you maybe upload the cab you're using? (or DLLs you're replacing) I'm getting the idea maybe unreal is using a bad cab since apparently he's been having this problem with multiple builds...

Here's the files Ive been trying to use. I just really like the latest taskbar, I dont mind taking up space because I still have 50mb left over after these taskbars. So idk thanks for the help so far.

unreal, download the kitchen and include it in the ROMs, it's going to be easier and cleaner than installing cabs and hoping for jackpot.

Yeah was the 1.7 built in the rom or did you install it yourself?
Im on 28014 as well, but cant seem to get the taskbar to show properly.
Can you give me a link to the tsowen1.7?

I meant OMJ kitchen 1.7 .. if you use his latest, 1.8, it should be the exact same result.

yeah the only changes I think from 1.7 to 1.8 are is the 1922 manila package so it would be the same thing.
