well the below is a list of 1922 pkgs that I have stopped using that were causing issues.

StartIconLoader_2_5_19222911_0 - Sense will not boot, cuz it needs to match the version of manila

Contact_Picker_1_0_19222911_00 - did not display right

Sensor_SDK_4_2_19222811_00 - photos & music would not rotate

Menu_Enhancement_1_1_19222010_00 - missing Delete ALL

Notification_Enhancement_3_5_19222911_00 - erratic behaviour

USB_To_PC_Pop_Up_2_3_19222510_00 - missing button, probably a porting issue

YouTube_2_6_19222811_00 - couldn't get it to work

If anyone has gotten any of these pkgs working right , please advise.

I have not been keeping up w/ 2.1.....I still prefer 2.5

For sensor 4.2 try adding these regedit:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\HTCSENSOR]
"Description"="HTC Sensor Service"
"DisplayName"="HTC Sensor Service"
"Prefix"="SEN"
"Dll"="HTCSensorService.dll"
"Context"=dword:00000000
"Keep"=dword:00000001
"Flags"=dword:00000000
"Index"=dword:00000000
"Order"=dword:00000008

and....

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor]
"EventChangedEx"=dword:00000002
"DeviceControlVersion"="0.50.0.0"
"DeviceVendor"="Kionix KXSD9"
"EventChanged"=dword:00000002
"DeviceAvailability"=dword:00000001

or just look at the regedits from 4.0 and 3.3 and compare... it should work... i don't remember what i did exactly cuz i've added some edits after i flashed.

for usb2pc u would atleast need to change the xml to fit vga scaling, personally i dont really know how to since there is nothing to compare it with.

notification enhancement worked for me after messing with some regedits that i compared with 2.2 and 3.0 but the text was really small... so i reverted back.

for menu enhancement u would have to change the registry to fit vga... probably look at the older version app.reg and it should have the correct location on the screen after u change it.

btw... my packages are a mix of yours and clac's wvga kitchen... so maybe the files i have on some of those packages are different. personally i figured that if someone got it to work on wvga it could work on vga...
i gave up trying to look at the leo dump since it all had the "test" label on it.

edit: u might already know this tool, but to compare regedits u can use this little util:

Hey OMJ,
Are you going to be uploading a new kitchen soon with the latest updates? Usually build my own ROMs but see that you have an update in your other thread.
Thanks just excited that's all.

yeah I was planning on re-packaging v1.7, I wanted to comb through all the 1922 pkgs but I havent had time, the ones that needed tweaking I just reverted back to previous versions.

yeah, my understanding is it's just 2 regedits, I already had one of them in my tweaks-omj-misc pkg, but now I have both....but when i look @ the sprint fix it's more than just the 2 edits, not sure what they're doing.

So does that mean it'll be coming out soon? :)

FYI: Flashed a 21889-based Titanium rom and 'fraid I can't really tell the difference in terms of speed, stability, smoothness, etc over my previous 21887-based Titanium rom. But I am really liking this latest rom because I believe I finally got the very clean Titanium rom I was looking for. After the flash I was at Storage:104.77MB and Program:141.77MB. Then after cab installing my extras including Bing, CleanRAM, GInvaders, GoogleMaps, GoogleSearch, MyPhone, Opera 10 Beta 2, SPB Backup, SPB MS, Sprint Picture Mail, and Touch_InCall I'm at 79.31MB and 130.68 on a fresh boot. And I was able to fix my SMS messaging problem that was causing me to switch from conversational/traditional mode to read/reply to my text messages. Yes! :headbang:

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there was a way for me install the latest EZInput (i think it's version 2.1) on my current ROM i.e. without flashing a new ROM or cooking a new one?

Thanks very much!

I've always seen sashimi stuff added to the Carrier EXT. You have to add the following to config_operator.txt:
Code:

XML: \WINDOWS\SASHIMIAR.xml
Then put SASHIMIAR.mscr, SASHIMIAR.lnk, and SASHIMIAR.xml in the Carrier folder you are using. The only other thing required is to cook mortscript into the ROM and have the SASHIMI tree set up on internal storage. I've attached an EXT for mortscript, a 'carrier' EXT with the files to add to your carrier folder, and the SASHIMI folder tree that needs to be placed in /Internal Storage. I've modified the SASHIMI script to work with the 6.5.x builds, as the original script had trouble installing cabs to the internal storage with 6.5.x.

OK. Working on this.
Here is a copy of the current config file in the Sprint Carrier folder of the most current kitchen with the mod made as described... I think.
Code:

LOCK:Enabled
CFG: \Windows\Manila.txt
CFG: \Windows\Config.txt
CAB: \Windows\Calkulins_Diamond_Tweaks.cab
XML: \Windows\Start_Menu.xml
XML: \WINDOWS\SASHIMIAR.xml
LOCK:Disabled
CFG: \Windows\SDAutoRun.txt

Should we get rid of the last line and insert RST: Reset instead?
I think I've got everything else right.
I put the other files in Packages\Carrier-Sprint\files. That's right?
Also, if I'm not using Manila/Sense, can I just get rid of the CFG: \Windows\Manila.txt line? And no UC, so CFG: \Windows\Config.txt should be able to go as well... right?

Here is the current config_operator.txt file that I'm trying:
Code:

LOCK:Enabled
CAB: \Windows\Calkulins_Diamond_Tweaks.cab
XML: \Windows\Start_Menu.xml
XML: \WINDOWS\SASHIMIAR.xml
LOCK:Disabled
RST: Reset

looks good, here is my new config_operator.txt found in the generic carrier

Code:

LOCK:Enabled
TSK: \Windows\Flamerise.tsk
CAB: \Windows\Calkulins_Diamond_Tweaks.cab
XML: \WINDOWS\SASHIMIAR.xml
LOCK:Disabled
RST: Reset

I am using the SASHIMI ext package that I posted.

the manila1.txt just sets the flamerise tsk:

TSK: \Windows\Flamerise.tsk

ok, here is the repackaged 1.7 kitchen. the only template that is up to date is 28014, so if you're using another template, make sure you check the appropriate packages are enabled. Some of the 1922 packages still need tweaking, I posted a list of them earlier.
