OMJ's HTC Sense Kitchen| WM 6.5.x 23504: runs slow and hot

Sweet. Great kitchen. I took the plunge and cooked up something decent. I tried to take out as many programs as possible, but it still runs slow and hot. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? It is based off of one of the 23504 OMJ ROM.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

OMJ I need a little assistance. Every time I cook a rom with your kitchen IThe account manager with the facebook twitter and youtube login's does not work. Facebook and Youtube say that they are unable to connect as soon as you click login, and twitter is not even on there. What am I missing? If I just load and build your 28002 it works fine.

yeah you should be able to use total commander (not sure about file explorer) and go to windows/start menu/programs and the respective folders and then just tap and hold whichever .exe files and select copy/move, select tree and select the program folder and then move

I would say yes, initflashfiles.dat is a requirement, but I'm not 100% sure. Since it is part of the OEM, I would not delete it. Yes, it sets the default stuff.

yes, you would "undo" the shortcut mods I made. I did not customize every package, only the ones I was including in my rom. So if you're including an app that I also included, you would want edit that package app.dat, and just remove the added folder, ie:

change this:

just remove the \Multimedia


you would also want to edit initflashfiles.dat located @ \OEM\Diamond\0409\OEM_Lang_0409. I just threw them in \System, so just remove \System from the path.

I also made changes to these files:

\SYS\28002\SHARED\COMMON\WindowsLive\mxipupdate_wi ndowslive_1.provxml

\SYS\28002\SHARED\COMMON\WindowsLiveIM\mxipupdate_ windowsliveim_1.provxml

\SYS\28002\SHARED\COMMON\Office\mxipupdate_office_ 100.provxml

\SYS\28002\SHARED\COMMON\Skymarket\mxipcold_market place_100.provxml

*Changing the PagePool

1) press the Other button
2) change the PP to your desired amount
3) press the close button
4) make sure you save your new ROM template!

OMJ, is it possible to just put up the different systems rather then all the systems and kitchen in 1 package? that way with my download limit I only have to download just the updated package, not the entire system

Ok I think it was that I had album 2.5 selected instead of 3.0. Thanks for the help OMJ!

I've never used a kitchen before... How do I know which sys to use? what is the difference between them?
