Quick question, but when we installed all the google maps and opera and what not to the internal storage, once we update to this newest rom, do we have to delete our old files on the I.S. and reinstall and whatnot, or are we good to go with the new rom with everything in the I.S. hung over from the old rom?

It depends on opera version. With newer opera versions, it has a thing called opera link. I created an account at http://link.opera.com/ and added all of my bookmarks/favorites using my PC. Then I just log in and syncronize opera mobile 10 or opera mini 5. It will add all of the bookmarks. You can use opera mobile 10/mini 5 to sync from phone to opera link server, but I did not have good luck with it.

For opera 9.5/9.7, find a file called opera6.adr on your phone and back that up. It can be opened with a text editor and changed as well (easier way to add favorites IMO).

thanks. I'm using Opera Mobile 10 beta (the one that came on the OMJ ROM I'm currently using). I knew about the .adr file but couldn't find it or even a Opera folder in \Windows. I'll try try the Opera Link you mentioned.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone is using Windows7 to sync their phones so they can flash them?

I used to connect via USB to my Laptop which ran Vista HomePremium/64, but I just formatted and installed Win7pro/64, and now it won't pull up the diamond in mycomputer (though it'll show windows "seeing" it and installing new drivers)...

Tried it on my Desktop with win7pro/64 and it doesn't "connect" either (when you try to run the bootloader, it says the usb isn't connected...)
