Hey guys in this latest Beta ROM is there a way to change the notification for a text message. I can't seem to find any option under the Sounds and Notifications.
Thanks.

Call it what you want (RAM or ROM), but I'm getting this error every 5 minutes or so:

--------------------------
Storage Memory

Storage Memory is Critically Low. If the storage memory is not increased, other programs may not be able to start. Use file explorer to delete files that are no longer needed or move some files to a storage card.
--------------------

I've never gotten it on any other ROM I've flashed...

I've done my usual routine (Exchange account, MSN account, Facebook, Twitter, Windows Marketplace) and that's it. I usually also install the Beta of Office 2010 but I wasn't able to with this ROM (but that's not a big deal).

It means you have too many programs installed to the storage memory. Uninstall some and reinstall to internal storage.

Thanks for getting my point, and I was only pointing it out so that OMJ would know as this ROM is still in Beta.

Here's the comparison (immediately after Flash, nothing added by me):

Stock Sprint:

Storage

Total: 90.68
In Use: 43.20
Free: 46.88

28014 v 1.6

Storage

Total: 65.32
In use: 24.48
Free: 40.84

2011 Beta

Storage

Total: 49.80
In Use: 22.27
Free: 27.54

Those are some pretty big differences. I know new technology will take up space, but the most recent is almost unworkable (and I don't see myself is a big installer of programs).

Most things can be installed to internal storage just fine. Also, if you need more space, use OMJ's kitchen and take out the stuff you don't want. IMO, the best ROM is the one you make yourself since it's tailored specifically to what you want :).

You really need to learn how to do this yourself :P. It's a simple process and I will help you 'learn to fish' here so you don't always have to keep asking. First, download the "23529 Rollup - All Packages" from post #1 here. Extract it to a folder. Then run XIPDumpSort.exe (attached in DumpSorter.zip). Browse to folder containing "23529 Rollup - All Packages", check "clean", check "sort", and check "into SYS layout for Ervius...". Then click Go. Next copy dpi_192, dpi_192_resh_480_resv_640, and SHARED folders which are created by xipdumpsort.ext into \pathtokitchen\SYS\23529. You also need to place the MSXIPKernal in \ROM, but you probably already know how to do that properly (also better to do this before sorting using xipdumpsort).

Now extract RecModCommon.zip and put it somewhere in your kitchen (ie My Tools). Create a shortcut to RecModCommon.bat and place it in your send-to folder (google will tell you how - just search 'how to add to send-to' and either windows 7, vista, xp, etc.). Then navigate to \pathtokitchen\SYS\23529\SHARED. Right-click on COMMON folder and choose send-to recmodcommon.bat. It will open a cmd window and recmod everything for you. That's all you have to do and it's really easy with the tools other people have created.

Thanks. I've been tempted for a while but OMJ's been doing such a GREAT job with his packages that I haven't really felt the need to do this myself until this ROM.

After I reflashed, I avoided installing the Office 2010 Beta all together and this has left me with about 19MB free after Exchange, MSN, Twitter and FB were installed and running so I think I found the culprit.

Free: 23.75

Exchange Sync (3.79 MB), MSN Email (0.53), Twitter Tab + Sign in (0.30), Enabling My Location (removing Orlando, no offense): (0.0), Windows Market Place (1.01), Facebook for Windows Mobile + Sign in (1.56), Linking Sense to Facebook (1.4), REBOOT

Free: 19.08

Now, having passed on Office 2010, I love this beta.
