Thanks! What I was hoping to find is a way, like with Rhapsody to Go, I could transfer wma files. My phone doesn't seem to have the MTP driver it needs to do this since flashing to the new rom.

Have you tried keeping activesync enabled and then using the Sync tab in Windows Media Player? Our diamonds show up like a microsoft branded mp3 player in WMP.

you don't need any program to transfer any files, even WMA. It's not like an IPOD where you HAVE to sync it to play it on the device. Try just using windows explorer to manually move your WMA files without syncing it to anything and see if windows media player will play it on your phone.

Also it depends what program you use. I use Mediamonkey and when I hook up my diamond as a disk drive it recognizes it as an MP3 player, but you can always move any file manually and be able to play it, so syncing is just a different way to do it if you want.

he's been posting the newer roms in posts on this thread, if you go back like 4 pages you wil probably see where some updated roms are, I know for a fact that the 21882 (latest 6.5 rom) is on page 191, not sure about the rest, its kind of an easter egg hunt :)

I think the last updated rom was 28005 on 12/4, which is on the front page

Thanks again, I know how to transfer files on my hard drive. What I was able to do with the stock rom was use my "Rhapsody to go" account to transfer wma files directly from Rhapsody without having to purchase them. The Rhapsody player on my computer recognized the internal storage, authorized it, and downloaded the tracks. Now with the new rom, I'm told I need an MTP driver for my phone or the player won't recognize the internal storage to authorize it. Does this make sense?

I am on 28005 1.2. The main issue is the phone freezing up with various applications. Messaging, gmaps, settings mail etc. Weird. Has anyone else experienced this? I did the flash dance before flashing this rom.
Is there a 28002 version with default WM messaging?

What ROM version do you all suggest I flash to now? Appears to be between 21882 or 28005?
