it usually happens if i'm on the messaging screen, turn off the screen (smartlock is set to lock on "suspend") and unlock it to get back to messaging.

I usually hit back, and hit the message again to continue.

I also have maxmanilla 2.6 beta installed (icon tabs turned off, slider turned on). maybe that might have something to do with it. I haven't troubleshooted yet because it hasn't bothered me enough yet.

Typically if you drop the keyboard down and bring it back up, it corrects itself.

for those of you who have automatic weather update working, can you check the value for the following reg key under HKCU\Software\HTC\Manilla\ : HasSelectedCity

I've gone through the whole Manilla directory and all the registry keys seem to have the right values. Having to manually update the weather doesn't really bother me but now that I know its not working on my phone..I just can't help but figure out what the problem is.

maybe I'm blind, but I dont see HKCU\Software\HTC\Manilla\ : HasSelectedCity

its like they combined the finger friendly features of 6.5.1 with the simplicity and
stability of 6.5. The menus are bigger and everything is so awesome. its fast, battery
life is good, no bugs. 21882 for the win.

I agree! I flashed 21882 on 12/4, havent changed since, seems faster than any 6.5.x rom I've built.....I do miss the bottom buttons though....I'll be flashing back to 28005 soon enough.

Anyone know of any cabs that would fix this?

you may not want to update, but the roms have really improved w/ new features & updates.....bite the bullet & flash 21882 or 28005

Well, there already is one at the end of the second post, but it only has one entry!

Alternatively, it seems like a good way to do it would be if we created a master list of known issues, and then each time someone wants to add a new known issue, they copy and paste that whole list, and add their new issue at the bottom. That way, probably every few pages there'd be an updated known issues list.

yes, I will.....in time

Hey OMJ,
Is there any reason why you haven't updated the first post and been putting the recent updated roms within the thread? I know I'm being lazy and not looking through the thread, but it would be nice if you could update the first post with the recent changes.

BTW I'm liking the 28005 v1.2 release much better than the 28008 release. Keep up the good work!

time...and not enough of it. I just had the mods open post #2 & 3 so i could add FAQ, Cabs & issues, I just havent had the time.

but good news, you still have the latest 6.5.3 rom :D

Hi OMJ,

I love your ROM; I have noticed something new with sms/mms messaging display problem happens randomly after a lot of usage..
http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/2080/errorx.png

any idea on how to fix it?

this has nothing to do w/ the rom, it's the messaging mod the amarullz created for manila....its a min or issue, hit back, then the txt icon again....I asked him about it, and he said if you leave the messaging mod (ie..if u get a mms, click on it, which takes u to native wm messaging) when u return to the manila messaging, u will see the corrupted icons. other than that, its a great mod, sometimes you gotta take the good w/ the bad.

I'm curious, how do others running this rom transfer music files to your phone?

Thanks! What I was hoping to find is a way, like with Rhapsody to Go, I could transfer wma files. My phone doesn't seem to have the MTP driver it needs to do this since flashing to the new rom.
