I know cookie isnt a lock. but there are multiple .cabs for the manila locker and they mention cookie as in you can only use certain ones if you are or are not using cookie app. I dont know if I'm supposed to pick one, any one, or all of the .cabs found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...12#post5921312

also I tried smartlock, had problems and updated to the newest version which is also giving me problems. now my screen dims but never shuts off unless I manually turn it off. even after a soft reset.

If you are using cookie home tab then choose manila lock+cht 1.61....
if you arent using the cookie mod then choose manila lock 2012 update 1.

if I recall, I had the same problem, but when I unchecked the top box that says about windows style or something like that (I don't have my phone handy), then it would dim and then cut off

I had problems with these versions of the Manila Locker shutting off the bluetooth connection when my headset was paired with it, so I had to remove them reluctantly.

How do I set to slide to unlock on wakeup? There is no option under in the Buttons under Settings for me.

Just wondering, I'm using pandora, works great so I can listen to the radio on my 30-45 minute drive to and from work and not change the station 3 times or lose it completely, but, I've hooked up an external stereo speaker but it's only playing out of one side, not both, I know the speaker works in stereo, I use it on my laptop, I thought the headphone output was in stereo? is anyone else experiencing this?

Anyone else having the following issue?

Sometimes when I open a text message window to reply to a message, I am able to enter only the first letter in the message box and then the keyboard hides it self. When I pull the keyboard back out and start typing again, it again hides it self. I usually end up soft-reseting in order to be able to send a message. This is extremely frustrating when you want to make a quickly respond to a message.

It seems to happen when there is a "new" message that hasn't been read yet. I say "new" because the message has been read, but the phone still thinks it's new.

I have experienced this same issue a few times, but not very often. I just have to close out of messaging completely and get back into it and it starts working again. I haven't had to soft-reset to fix it.

I don't know if this is what you're experiencing, but I often see something similar which pretty much boils down to me being impatient. There seems to be a longer than usual delay in bringing up the keyboard when I'm in the manila SMS screen, so often times I'll tap on the input field, the keyboard doesn't immediately pop up, so I'll tap the keyboard button. This results the keyboard immediately closing after it opens. Or something like that.

The fix for me is to just be patient, and wait about 5 seconds before pressing anything. This may be different from what you're experiencing, I don't know.

OMJ: I used to run your roms on my vogue. Now my wife runs your roms on her Diamond. Excellent work as always!

I was wondering, Does GTX Sense 2.5 work on these roms? When I tried it, it didn't look anything like it. Only the clock changed.

Make sure you use the GTX sense 2012 version. That one should work fine. Also, you probably already know, but soft-reset sense after installing the cab.

Yeah, I tried the 2012 version and followed the installation instructions to a tea but it still doesn't render like it does on his screenshots.

Hello,

I tried all of this roms on my Diamond. The setup runs fine but when the Diamond restarts it hangs on the "HTC DIAMOND" startup message.

Do i need some special type of hard spl? I also have read all of your post and cant boot any rom after sucefull instal.

The last one i tried was OMJ_Diamond_Sense_2.5_2012_23541_v1.2

I love the rom specs and dont understand way after a good instalation it cant boot up.

I'm using the latest 6.5 Rom, and GTX sense 2.5 installed perfectly, like the screenshots, for 6.5. The only thing is that it consumed like 15MB of my Device memory and had to install cookie editor, cause it comes with a new version of cookie home. I am really happy with my phone, thanks OMJ!!...well at least until i get my HTC Evo 4G :evil4:

I was using GTX Sense 2.5 for a few days after it was initially posted. Looked mostly like the screen shots posted on the thread. Became disenchanted after bumping into several bugs that many other vga users were also seeing like Sense crashing/relaunching in the calendar monthly view, no visible days in the yearly calendar, and some graphical glitches spread throughout. The last straw was when I installed the HD Mini Locker and my Diamond would no longer boot. Had to do a hard reset to get back up and running. Presumably some problems have been fixed with some service packs and some additional capabilities have been released like a compact GTX upgrade and a notification bar.

I'm still following, but I've decided to hold off on reinstalling to see if the problems really are fixed. Who knows? By then "I may be over" the initial appeal of this theme for Sense.

There is any chance to migrate the last one to a GSM version? I will Donate for your work.

well I tried but kitchen keeps giving errors when cooking. sorry, I just dont have the time....I would take the advice of Mr. Obvious, and check XDA, they have a lot of GSM ROMs

i tried a white gtx it was fine untill i went ot the start menu to find ugly icons.. nothing seemed to match,.... and the clock was fugly...LOL so i came back to OMJ about 5 minutes later! :)

Maybe an OMJ version will result in a more complete package?

Yeah I like the GTX stuff. The clean look is really nice. I miss that from my stock Alltel TF3D that had the nice clean brown theme. Go for it OMJ!

still working on it, but it appears it's not compatible w/ mwalts 2012 manila locker. I updated the clock, it's alittle better.

I can live without the Manila locker right now anyway. I uninstalled it because it gave me fits. Every time I would be on the phone it would lock in a call and I would have to unlock to hang up the call ect... I changed options with to no avail. I found that I really hardly ever turned my phone on accidentally so the only reason I would need the lock is to keep others out, and it doesn't do that lol.

I noticed on the GTX thread that he is still working on the taskbar and stuff. The whole looks is really sweet. Thanks for working on it OMJ! I like the way it looks so far though!

-Only the GTX theme has been applied, still has the Flamerise theme

Thanks for the GTX version OMJ... it's a nice change of pace (visually).

I finally got around to upgrading from sense 2.1 to 2.5 and I'm liking it so far. The performance seems on par with 2.1 to me.
