Oliver why are you doing this to me ... I think I'm becoming a Pegasus rom-flashing addict now .

I'd give the 6.5.1 premium a go tonight, and I'd keep you posted. Nice job!

On another note though, my mail client seems to almost always freeze up, and sometimes unresponsive, if I send a text and immediately hit "X" to go back to message view. The "location" bar just shows white (whatever was at that position before pressing the "X" button), and nothing works for like 3-5 minutes, and sometimes only a power off works :S.

I'm on 6.5 premium v1.01 right now (23017). I'd flash 6.5.1 later tonight and see if I notice any difference.

Oliver's Pegasus V2 6.5 Basic: Memory after flashing, Program List

Hello,

First I would like to thank you for working so hard to create ROMs for those of us who decided to stick with a Diamond (until Sprint gets the Diamond 2). I have cooked a few ROMs with the Calkulin's v4.1 Visual Kitchen, but want to go back to the pros as I like stripping out everything but the absolute minimum, but I don't know how to customize the look and then there are a few bugs, mainly graphically that I get annoyed with after a week.

But I digress.

I have two questions that I believe someone who has flashed already may be able to answer:
  • How much memory is available after flashing? I have 74mb with my custom ROM.
  • Can you publish a list of what is cooked into the ROM? I do not know the difference between the Basic and Pro versions.
Thank you.

+1. I am interested in knowing this, too.
Pete

Re: ALL CDMA [10-30-09] Oliver's Pegasus V2 Series 6.1/6.5/6.5.1 (21055/21869/23071)

(FYI after flashing 6.5.1, I have 91,744.)

Oliver -- for some reason, the "Menu" and "Back" buttons are there but you cant see them. If i click where they are supposed to be they function, but they are invisible. The "Back" button is the one in the Start Menu....

EDIT: I reloaded the Flamerise theme and the buttons appeared...
Thanks

Post Oliver's Pegasus V2 6.5 Basic: Call Recording, QuickGPS, Program List

I ended up trying both, here are my results after flashing to the Sprint ROM and a quick 'clear storage':

Pegasus Premium:
  • Available memory after flash: ~23
  • Custom notification sounds: SMS "Excuse me boss..."
  • Almost every program that is in the Calkulin Kitchen
  • Panoramic Background
Pegasus Basic:
  • Available memory after flash: ~74
  • OEM rings and sounds
  • Limited programs
  • Normal background
I like the PBasic so that's what I'm going with. There was one item that eludes me; where is QuickGPS. I searched and found many, is the one in this, this, or this posting the correct one?

On a similar note, where can I pick up the In Call Recorder 1.0.1821.2426? I found many posts discussing issues they were having with it and I didn't want to get the wrong one. I know the one in C's Kitchen works as I used it off and on with no issues to speak of. Unfortunately I cannot just grab the cab out of the kitchen folder as it is in another format.

Otherwise, great ROM, very quick and it has been going strong the last few hours I have had it. I will test battery efficiency throughout the day.

Thank you.

for some reason on v1 and v2 of 6.5.1, Opera Mini 4.2's bottom buttons (Menu, Back etc,) are partially hidden -- they are too "low" and off the bottom of the screen.

Any ideas?

this occurs to me on every 6.5.1 rom I use. no idea how to fix it but it's a common problem.
