About the lockups: yes, I did hard reset immediately after flashing. I've noticed that most of the time it locks up is when I'm moving quickly through menus, mainly with email/text messaging. Hopefully that helps!
did you restore all of your text messages?

I tried with restoring messages, then I hard reset and tried without. It hangs a bit while bringing up the text message window a bit, such as pulling up the all messages or going to the single thread, and if I try to either start typing or go back before it's done with it's hang, it'll hang even longer, sometimes freezing. Sometimes happens when changing tabs in manila, like if I go past my tab and try to get the one I wanted right away. Could it be something with the graphics driver not wanting to play nice?
All in all, it's not really a big deal, I got used to it rather quickly, and just let it load before I move on with what I was doing. I guess that's something trying to tell me to slow down and enjoy life a bit, lol.
