Ok for anyone still running the manila version of STX 5, I have determined that with the current set up on the rom, WM will not recognize or play any ringtone that is not in .wav format. However, if you move all the ringtones from the "Windows\Rings" folder to "Internal Storage\My Documents\My Ringtones" then it will recognize and play all of them except for .mp3 format.

Does anyone know what would cause that or how to get .mp3 ringtones to play?

i think manila is what causes all these problems

on my new rom, which ill be uploading soon, youtube works, ringtones are fine and everything is smoother overall.

ill make a new manila rom once 2.1 r1.5 is released.
