Thanks for all your help guys!, flashing to stock then back to WM5 seems to have worked! 6.5 does take a little getting used to and opera seems to freeze the phone a bit but otherwise it's ok.

anybody have a cab install that will restore the ABC scrollbar that's in contacts? I messed around and now I get the regular scrollbar, would really like the ABC scrollbar back without hard reset.

What error are you getting? Hard to help without this information.

OH NO!!

You shouldn't have flashed WM5, most of this stuff won't work anymore!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?

Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ VICTOR ] [ 05.24.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21234 ] MightyROM5

I think he meant 6.5... I HOPE that's what he meant...

Erm... Another quirk I've noticed: if you deactivate the HTC dialer, the automatic prepend doesn't work anymore...? I tried to re-enable the dialer skin and prepend worked again, then the same when I deactivated. It wouldn't be such a big deal but I travel a lot and NONE of my several hundred contacts have the +1 in them. Damn.

Any clues or this normal?

PS: my Wifi problem got solved by a tweak in Advanced config... I think it was just a bug really...

What tweak exactly techno? I think Mike would appreciate knowing where to look.

Well I went to Advanced Config and tweaked two settings: put data connection to Active instead of Always active, and I unchecked Allow Wifi in sleep mode. Soft reset and that did the trick. I hard reset again, and same problem, so I'll check this solution to make sure it works again.
