Re: MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com [Windows Phone® 6.5] [Final]

So, was there a fix for the bluetooth voice command for this ROM? Voice command worked in the stock 6.1 Sprint ROM and does not now. Defeats the purpose of bluetooth.

Also, is there anyway to get my data connection to stop downloading constantly? It did not do that when the stock ROM. I have my data connection turned off because it does not stop and runs constantly even when the phone is not doing anything. There a setting I can use to see what is making the data connection download non-stop?

Thanks for your help. This forum is packed with good info.

Justin

Flash back to custom ROM, and then try to flash Mighty6 again, if you still have the same error then get into the bootloader first and then perform the ROM upgrade from there. Also, you might want to try using another cable.

Are you using Vista or Win7? I get that error all of the time with both. Just click recovery and hit next a bunch of times until it says 'recovery successful'. Then just click update. I don't actually do what it says and unplug my phone. Sometimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times before it will actually flash. Flashing to a shipped rom isn't going to fix this problem IMO. I think it's caused by the RUU and how Vista or Win7 detect the phone when it goes into bootloader.

The other suggestion I've found while searching is that this could be related to Plus Code Dialing or Automatic Prepend.

Anyone having this problem? How did you fix it?
If you AREN'T having this problem, what are your settings for Call ID match, Plus Code Dialing, and Automatic Prepend?

Thanks in advance...

EDIT - I just deleted Call History, and now Call Match seems to work. I'll try this for a few days to see whether if it's a true fix or not. In the meantime, it would be great if someone would provide their settings...

Thanks...
FOUND THE FIX - the problem had nothing to do with Mighty's ROM...

I've been googling this issue within this site and others - users comments indicate that it seems to happen to people upgrading ROMs or transitioning to new phones - it doesn't just stop working. It also seems to happen across carriers and across custom/stock ROMs. So I began to suspect the problem was related to how I restored my Contacts. I restored Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes via Sprite - everything else I re-installed manually.

As suggested by srwsr, I verified that the Outlook version of Contacts was clean; I made a couple of small corrections, than re-synced for Outlook contacts to overwrite the device's contacts.

SUCCESS!!!

Now that contacts are good, I changed the sync settings back to synchronize.

So now my phone is perfect...thank you again, MightyMike! I was really getting frustrated by my Diamond, especially witht the freezing while texting issue...and now I love my phone again.

FYI: tried the above cab but did _not_ solve the problem, tried flushing MightyROM again and same thing, other reseach pointed me more and more to Sprint, so a call to them with the "Error Code 67" and they knew how to fix it on their end!!

Thanks again MightyMike! for all your hard work, my Diamond still ROCKS.

Re: MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com [Windows Phone® 6.5] [Final]

My phone randomly starts vibrating for no reason at all, and either stops after a minute, or not at all unless I change the volume settings to "vibrate" and then back to whatever it was before.

Other than this issue, I love this rom.
