Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Ok, I've been searching the mightyrom thread, but have yet to see anyone else with this problem on his newest version...Maybe its a remnant from the old rom (perhaps addressed and solved there), but I'm going to ask for help because I'm at a loss here.

When I try to send a text message, It stays in the outbox folder and gets sent over and over again even though It was sent only once. Also when I try to view the sent items folder it freezes up on that page with little bit of a visual glitch but I am still able to pull the drop down menu to switch to the inbox or any other folder. It stops being sent automatically after I delete it from the outbox folder. Anyone else experiencing this?

My installation is basically stock with two exceptions, I did port over contacts from PIM backup and install some Live Messenger stuff. I did (after some trial and error) go from the stock sprint rom which came shipped with my diamond to Mighty's new rom and that basically took care of all the other bugs I was having, except this one.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Anybody else having trouble with activesync taking forever to sync? I've had this problem intermittently since I started using WM6.5. And yes, I did the correct flash to shipped rom, clear storage, etc. procedure.

It will connect, then just sit there saying "connected" but not syncing. I can hit the sync button, but it does nothing. Or sometimes it will say "connecting" for several minutes. Finally when it feels like it the sync will start, which may be 5min later. Very annoying if I just want to sync up before I head off to a meeting or to go home.

Where is this file? I could not find it.

I was having the same issue. Then I realized I had forgotten to do a hard reset after flashing from shipped ROM to MightyROM 6. A hard reset fixed the problem for me. To bad I had already loaded everything on (oops!).

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

I think this is the best 6.5 rom yet. That being said, I think i'm going back to Mighty's 6.1 final. There are just too many little nagging things that pop up and I really don't care for the new start menu. Maybe if TF3d 2.5 or whatever it's called get's ported to our diamonds I'll give it another shot. Thanks again for all you effort and hard work on this one Mike!

Hey Cesium, I think he is referring to this: Start>Settings>Sounds & Notifications>try unchecking notifications under the Programs tab(pic attached) and in notifications, uncheck "Display message on screen" (pic attached). hope this works.
