ok, the google voice issue is reason enough for me to go back to the previous ROM... anyone know if it is an issue with just this ROM? or has google gone and changed something on us?

edit:just reflashed the old rom, and google voice is no longer working as it was... looks like it was just timing. damn you google!

edit2: my bad, i was going to the wrong google voice website... i was trying to get to m.google.com/voice instead of the real one of www.google.com/voice/m

I just merely need to reflash to the shipped ROM and then to Mighty 6? What does this do that is different from just switching from one cooked ROM to the next? Or do I also need to do a format or clear storage at that point?

Thanks for your help, by the way. I will try this.

Flashing back to shipped just helps get rid of all the weirdness that might pop up. Also using the clear storage method to hard reset after flashing to a custom ROM is also a good idea. It used to be the only way to stop the multiple text sending bug way back when.

So flash shipped, flash custom, clear storage...(only clear the device not the internal storage)

Had no idea about the shipped ROM flash, but after that, Mighty 6 works great so far. Thank you for all of your help!!

I love MightyRom6 but what happens to us with these new Windows builds?

the way i'm used to flashing a new rom would be to

flash to shipped> flash to custom> clear storage and format internal storage

to clear storage go to start> settings> system> clear storage and then select "clear storage and format internal storage" and type "1233" at the bottom and click okay

i think the reasoning behind this is given by rileyd5 in the link below:

extremely screwed....

I flashed mightyrom 6 onto my phone, and for some reason everytime i did a soft reset to my phone, it kept on hard reseting. Finally, after i tried to soft reset again to see if it would still hard reset, my phone now doesn't go past the "touch diamond" black screen where it says all the numbers on the bottom in red.

Please tell me there's a way to fix this phone :(

Toosweet, go into bootloader (pull the battery, push the back, center of d-pad, volume down, and power, and hold it for like five seconds then release with power first) and then connect the phone and flash your shipped, not stock, ROM then go back to MR6.

Thanks Mr. Obvious! I actually figured out how to hard reset my phone using the keys upon start up for the phone...that basically allowed me to reflash to shipped, clear storage, and then reflash mighty...thank you tho for the helpful pointer regardless!!!
