has anyone tried adding a keyboard? i really like the full qwerty over the keyboard and use the phonepad for texts...

but the block recognizer is pretty sweet...

just looking to add more options...

yes I added fingerkeyboard and one of the htc keyboards from Calcu's rom thread.

As far as keyboard goes, how can I make it the default one on boot? Everytime I reboot the phone, the MS kb get defaulted...

There's a cab called sipchange that will let you select your default keyboard. You can search for it here at ppcgeeks. I've read about nueSIPDefault and it seems like it is supposed to be better than sipchange, but I have not personally used it.

I had that same issue, installed this and problem solved
