Do I have to reactivate sprint phone after i unlock it?

hey guys, iv had my sprint touch diamond since the first week it came out but i haven't really decided to do any tweaks and upgrades until now. i'm about to unlock it for the first time and i was just wondering if i have to reactivate it after i flash it. my only concern is that my data plan didn't work the first time i activated it myself and i had to take it in for them to fix it. thanks for the help.
