Re: HTC Touch Diamond™ (Sprint) Maintenance Release – Version 2.00.651.7

I believe the battery life is a little better than before. Opera seems to have some of the bugs fixed. So far none of the freezing text issues have showed up yet.

Re: HTC Touch Diamond™ (Sprint) Maintenance Release – Version 2.00.651.7

I have a question. I am running Mighty Rom 4.7. I installed that over the stock Rom. Should I run the new official Sprint Rom and then reflash to the Mighty Rom or should I just leave things as they are now? I am sort of new to the flashing game and am curious to know. Also, if I wait for some more Roms to come out based on this new official release, would I have to flash to the Sprint Rom first and then to the new 2.00 based rom, or could I just install the new Rom over Mighty Rom?

Sorry if these questions were too jumbled. Like I said, I am kinda new to flashing. Thanks.

Leave things how you have it now. Installing the new ROM from HTC would erase your Mighty ROM and you'd have to re-install that. Things are not carried over from 1 ROM to the next. Some people recommend flashing to stock ROM before flashing to a new custom ROM and others flash away without going to stock and have no problems.

Thanks for the reply. One more question. Do any of these custom ROMs update the radio? I know, another noob question.

Well, if he's never updated the radio, this will give him the latest official Sprint radio. He could then flash to Mighty again, keeping the radio update. Or, I guess he could just flash the radio separately, but I've never done it myself. There is some value into flashing the new stock. I guess it's how adventurous he wants to be with his radio.

Looks like spell correction gets turned off. That may have caused the T9 gibberish. I haven't seen it since I turned it back on.

For those of you that are saying Opera is better/faster, can you please post the version/build number? Thank you!

NM. I see that inda has posted a new build for his GR4. I will flash to this ROM to play with it before flashing his new ROM. Thanks anyways.
