Carrier cabs allow or should i say setup the settings that are needed for MMS to work and the internet , If i had sprint as my carrier then i wouldnt have to change anything as far as settings go because they have already configured it in the rom release for thier customers/

BUT if u are like me who has cricKet as a carrier / i would want to install a custom rom which has the sprint customization removed from it/ does me no good to have sprint settings/ u will notice that some custom rom say sprint ONLY/ Now what the cabs does is install the info that is correct for your carriers MMS and internet settings without u having to go into reg edit and change all the settings manually/ and since this rom release is NOT carrier specific u would install the sprint cab if u have sprint as your carrier/

Now how do you use it if I choose to flash the fufu rom?
I am on Telus I have d-loaded the telus cab.

no problem, after u flash the FuFu rom / of coarse let the customization run because it is not loading any specific carrier custom settings ( just generic settings) after flash is complete/
then (if u have downloaded a copy of telus carrier cab) to your internal drive( which i did for my carrier cab) then go to it using file explorer and click it/ it will install (install to device) then it might ask to do a soft reset. Now Heres what i do to get my internet ready to go (BUT THIS MIGHT NOT BE A STEP U NEED TODO because im with cricket and it might be only a cricket thing, SO first see if u can access the internet right away and MMS is working for u/

if its not right away, it would only take a quick search to find the TELUS settings that need to be entered to have your internet and MMS work /

all i have todo is go and enter my ph# and use "cricket" as password to access internet and have my stuff work / u should be no different, maybe 1 quick settings is all u need and u r good to go/ thats the beauty of carrier cabs/

i suk at explaining stuff but i try / hopefully this helps clear up a little for u

Just flashed my phone and it just locked up the diamond. I have tried to hard reset with it just won't boot up. It's stuck at the loading screen with the message "preparing your device for the fist use. Please wait. The home screen will be displayed when this process is completed". It is stuck in this mode for a long time. Any help would be appreciated.

First off I would like to say I have always been scared to flash my phone to a new rom and all though i am always on these boards i had never seen one i had to have! After seeign your 4.5 rom i decided i needed to do this, so i followed your directions perfectly and i am a very happy man with how it turned out! thank you so much.

Pull battery and push power, see what it does. If the same, turn it off, push back button,down volume, and power at the same time. Rainbow screen should come up, now get the ruu ready to run again and plug your phone to the usb and flash original rom, clear storage, and run Fufu again.

I just can't seem to get it to the rainbow screen. I can only get it to the hard reset screen for some reason.

Rom is great, awesome work Highlife, I haven't really paid too much attention to any bugs yet as it is WM6.5 and bugs are a given. The only problem I have so far is installing Showaco's Weather Panel. The launcher shows up but not the weather, not sure if this is due to the new 202 build, or what, but it is a possibility. The launcher works great however (with CHrome Configurator), you may want to include this cab with the rom in the future, I think indagroove includes it with his.

I managed to get weather working, it was being disabled and no matter how many times I told CHome Config to enable it, it wouldn't. So I went straight to the registry, enabled it there and was then able to see it and configure it properly.
