Wow a new sys? I'm like flashing every other day to keep my phone updated lol Hey Inda - is there any noticeable improvements with the 21731?

I slept 4 hours last night. I was about to go to bet around 12:30, and saw the new sys was out. I had it DL'd, ported, tweaked, rom build, upped, and link posted by 2:15am -- pretty good time if I do say so myself. Had to get up at 7am this morning for work. When I was touring (with a band) a few years ago, I got used to 5 hours being standard. Nowadays I sleep anywhere between 4 and 10 hours a night.

Luckily, the wife went to bed around midnight last night, or I wouldn't have the new build up today. She got up around 2am, and aw me at the PC, and said WTF are you doing (she hates Phonegeek stuff). I said "working on the computer, why is that a problem?" She said yes. I asked why? She said, "I guess I don't have a good reason" and went back to sleep.

I can get away for some late night geek stuff once in awhile, but too often my wife would crucify me. Glad you got away unscathed.

Trying out new build now, although I didn't really have a good excuse since any of your last few builds have been perfectly stable and fast for me.

I just can't help myself. Anyways I expect this to be just as good as the others. I haven't really noticed a difference after 30 minutes of playing.

LOL, same thing at my house. I'll say I'm coming to bed in ten minutes and next thing I know it's 4AM.

I am a (semi-retired) musician too. I used to tour for months at a time so I got used to being a vampire. Now I just lose sleep and try to catch up on the weekends.

Anyway... your dedication does not go unappreciated.

Re: [060509] grooveROM 5 - CE OS 5.2.21731 (Build 21731.5.0.2) -- [ROM & Kitchen]

Loving the rom - I only have 2 problems

1 - Its a small one, but it still bothers me - Touchpal, for some reason when you are typing the first word you only get the first letter of the word. After it happens once, it wont' happen again until you try to send a new text. Seems to be a Touchpal problem, but maybe somebody has a fix?

---Edit --- Apparently the creator of Touchpal is aware of the problem in 6.5 and is working on it.

2 - This a much bigger one. My Exchange Active sync for some reason won't push my email/contact, etc, I have to manually sync it. It works great, and I've never had a problem on other roms (only ran 6.1 on other ones though - so maybe its a 6.5 problem?) It will sync fine when I manually do it, but thats a pain. Its sent to sync as items arrive, but it doesn't. Am I the only one having this problem?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the great rom Groove!

Be careful, this is why I have an ex-wife. Costs way more than staying married.
