Similar problem with my phone with Groove5. It will show the camera icon twisting from portrait to landscape, but then the screen goes blank/black. The camera will still take pictures, I just can't see what im taking a photograph of.

Other than that - and my novice problem of getting QuickGPS to work - Im really liking this ROM.

Yeah, I've always been a big advocate for manilla. I have seen Titanium grow nicely, but it still doesn't come close to the slickness and power of manilla. Nothing I have seen gets me to my phone's functions faster and slicker than manilla.

I've only had one issue of the Camera not opening, and that was fixed with a simple soft-reset. I haven't had the blank screen yet, but in past builds a soft-reset fixed that right up too.

I forgot that I took games out of the sys for simpleROM, and I used the same sys for this. I'll put them back in the next build (if I remember).

I had the blank camera screen issue last night, but as Inda stated, a soft-reset fixed me up right away. Great ROM by the way.

Yessah, a soft reset did the trick... after 2 attempts. I decided to do a hard reset and no problems since. Cheers!
I just figured out Sashimi too. Cool.

I must say I love this rom its almost perfect only 1 problem. No GPS tools or google maps. I tried install tom tom but wont get a signal on it whats up with that I am lost without gps.... Love the Rom keep up the grat work.

Yes, very frustrating. I havnt got much work done today while trying to solve this. Tried to install quickgps via a cab and regedit found at xda, but to my chagrin. It seems that quickgps is pretty much necessary for a sattelite lock after installing googlemaps or tomtom.
I will post a solution if i find one.

Please do cause I have no hair and still pulling it out trying to get it myself cant get anything to give a gps lock at all. I love the rom but have to have GPS I may have to swith temp. until next release... Very good ROM though like everything else.

what do you need quick gps for? I just tested google maps, tom tom, and garmin. I got locks within 10 seconds with all three.
