Widgets aren't working in the 6.5 build yet. If you don't want the icons taking up stace, delete the two widget files from \windows\start menu\programs.

Good morning all!

This is continued from last night's post regarding my adventures in WM6.5land!

Flashed shipped Telus ROM, let customization run
Ew gross, stock Manila
Flashed grooveROM 4 - WM 6.1 with HD Manila
Customization much faster than 6.5
Customization complete, first boot, still digging that splash screen!
HD Manila looks good, Windows Orb is round again, love that No Curtains is already installed, background4all is working, would love to see transparent icons in the Programs tab
Straight to ActiveSync, connect to Exchange Server (we're rocking Exchange 2007, FYI)
Security policies being enforced, looks good so far
Downloading folders, nice!
Synchronized, woo hoo!
Checking email, love the transparent envelope in the Mail tab
Time to test some radios
Phone works
Data works
Everything seems to be working right, installing programs
All programs installed, no issues
Soft resets do not become hard resets, very nice
GPS works
Footprints included, excited to try it!
Digging BT OnOff
New calculator is nice
Can't remove Task Manager from Settings/Menu for some reason, weird
Would love to see HTC Rhodium Menu and Notification Enhancements included, they're just so durned good!
Personalization complete, did some playing around, very impressed

And the call...
This is just as good as grooveROM 3 build 12, possibly even a little quicker. Seems perfectly stable so far, but I need a little more time to break it before making the final call. I would definitely recommend this ROM to anyone. Also, please note that I am on Telus and have absolutely no problem running this ROM, your results may vary.

hey there, don't go off on me k? but how do you change the background on this rom? it said it comes with it pre-installed, and can be change in the manila setting? where is this exactly? i've look through the phone, but didn't see anything. anyone helps?? thanks

Go to the settings tab and select the wallpaper option. From there it's whatever you want/have on you device.
