All customs ROMs flash OS (SYS, XIP, OEMs) only, they do not include radio or bootloader.

That's odd! Well volume didn't work for me but the weird part now is that no video plays anymore. I get the "cannot play this video" error thing. I'll clear storage a bit later and see what happens.

I just checked on my phone (running newest 23003 Groove ROM) and I can play videos but I also have no sound. I've flashed stock (bell has no shipped) and reflashed and still no sound.

I've also double checked my sound in both menus, YouTube menu and used that sirius program to verify that sound does work, just not in YouTube app.

Anyone else?

Flashing to stock will do you no good, unless it is a "ship" rom.

I don't understand why you guys whould have any YouTube issues, when I don't. I've done multiple flashes of this build, and TY works fine every time.

Inda, with Bell there is no shipped ROM. Should I flash a sprint shipped rom instead? If so I'll give er a run with that.

I'll give it a run after work today. Maybe I'll use the Telus rom since Telus uses Bell towers around here, it should work correctly, if not, oh well, my magnet fell out anyways so I need a replacement.

I have the same issue with no shipped ROM (I use MTS who gets their phones from bell). and i have a different radio in mine then i have seen anywhere else. flashing a shipped ROM usually replaces the radio too, does it not? That is the main reason i have not ever flashed a shipped ROM. Stock usually works fine for me. I just flash the stock, boot, clear the memory, and then flash the new cooked ROM. Very few problems doing it that way... work work but meh... i know i keep my radio. If flashing shipped ROM doesnt replace the radio, i have been doing a lot of extra work... can someone clarify this for me?

yes flashing a shipped rom will replace the radio on your device. so if you flash the shipped sprint radio, your radio will change to 1.11.00f.
