Re: [060509] grooveROM 5 - CE OS 5.2.21731 (Build 21731.5.0.2) -- [ROM & Kitchen]

I installed this rom a couple of days ago and it's working great. No problems on my end other than one small annoyance- the finger keyboard keeps switching back to the compact one.

Great work, gonna keep this one for a while since I dont flash often. =D> I think the last rom I had before this flash was Juicy 4.

If you mean it keeps switching back to compact qwerty, that's because it is the default SIP. Install SIPchange to keep your favorite kbd as default.

Seems to me there must be 2 rotate screen programs out there. When I delete the shortcut from the home screen and put it back again, it must pick up the good version that long press send key picks up. I'd like to get rid of the bad version by copying the good version on top of it but I have no idea what they're called and I figured you would. Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Re: [060509] grooveROM 5 - CE OS 5.2.21731 (Build 21731.5.0.2) -- [ROM & Kitchen]

Loved the 21731 ROM except the keyboard. I tried to install an earlier ezinput cab with the basic white buttons with black fonts but after the soft reset, it wouldn't boot up. I had to reflash.

Any ideas or is there a skin with the white buttons?

Thanks.

be sure to use a good task manager to close the sipgt_app.exe process before installing a new keyboard. this will ensure the keyboard will install and work properly.

Re: [060509] grooveROM 5 - CE OS 5.2.21731 (Build 21731.5.0.2) -- [Diamond ROM & Kitc

Why does it keep freezing on me especially with text messaging... it will freeze for a while then continue... its really a pain when talking to multiple people... is there something I need to be doing besides installing the ROM itself?

Its not just your ROM but it seems to be happening with every WM 6.5 ROMs I put on my phone
