[Final] grooveROM 5 - CE OS 5.2.23016 (Build 23016.5.3.0) - [Diamond ROM]

The rom is great but I have no Vibrate in anything (none in games, alarm, messages, calls). I started with stock rom and it worked, then installed GrooveRom4 and had nothing. So downloaded stock rom and redownloaded GrooveRom4 from this forum. Installed stock, vibrate worked, Installed GrooveRom4, no vibrate. I been looking all over PPCGeeks and XDA forums but cant find anything.

Groove, any chance you can throw up the url's you were using for radar images. In previous releases I have just changed the city and state and got realtime weather images but when I try to this through accuweather, its not working for me. I also read through the xda thread you posted but no luck so far. No biggie either way. Thanks.

edit: did get this url working but not sure if it will show weather (rain) etc.

vibrate is working for me on calls and games. i did notice vibrate is gone on weather updates and if you press and hold the end key for lock screen but not sure how to turn that back on. also appear vibrate is not working for emails with vibrate turned on.

Did you install anything after flash? If so, what did you install?

Try a hard reset, and then once customizations have run, and you're fully rebooted, hold down the end call key for like 5 seconds. Does it vibrate?

Nothing installed, its just GrooveRom4 stock. Is there any drivers I could be missing for hardware or maybe a reg edit that may have got changed some how? Also a hard start does nothing, still no vibrate. Im not trying to down your software or anything like that, I love it and I understand I maybe the only one having this problem and I really thank you for all the help you can give me. Also holding down the end call key for 5 seconds puts it into vibrate mobe but no vibrate.

You are running the exact same ROM version that I am, so I honestly don't know what to tell you. I don't know how you would be missing any drivers or reg edits, unless you mucked around with files, but that doesn't sound like the case.

If you really want to try to make it work, all I can suggest is this (which you may have done, but it will only waste time to try again, so why not?):

Flash to the Stock Sprint rom that I linked to in the first post, and let it boot up to the "touch here to setup windows" (or whatever it says) screen. Then don't go any further, just plug your phone into your PC, and flash to grooveROM. Let it fully load, and check vibration. If it still doesn't work, maybe your phone just hates my ROM. Like I said, it works for me, and others too.

finally got around to trying to build a rom with your OEM/SYS. i constantly get the phonecounsel error, that it cant find read the s001 in the lang0409 file. why does it constantly give me this error when building/ it then causes greloc to not work.
