I don't get it! Why put Manilla (of any sort) on top of 6.5? 6.1 is a much more mature platform and, if you're going to cover it up anyway, it doesn't make any sense to use 6.5 (you won't gain anything except a few glitches).

Totally agree, I was psyched when I saw the new layouts 6.5 would have. I do really enjoy TF3D, and show it off to everyone, but I love 6.5, and it's only going to get better from here I'm sure. I really don't plan on using TF3D at all, just don't see the point of it anymore. But to each his own!

Thoughts?
Having the same issue with 6.5 build 5 running rhodium. I'm in Eastern GMT -5 and it keeps defaulting to Bogota GMT -5 which sets my clock an hour back. Tried changing thru manila and going thru the start menu to settings. No luck.

I installed grooverom HD from the cab on top of 6.5 and have had no problems. I do it because I like the 6.5 menus and start menu but I also like manila HD.

Anyone else get a lockup at boot on build 7? For some reason, my phone has locked up twice now at boot, I am forced to do a hard reset.

It comes up with the Touch Diamond logo and then you see the red numbers on the bottom, and that's it, it stops there, and it just sits there. If I do a hard reset, it works just fine, of course I lose everything, and have to re-install everything... This is the second time this has happened now since I went to build 7 yesterday, anyone else having this issue? Maybe my phone is just dying... =(

Just decided to try this rom today since I'm on sprint and alot of the pre installed things are what I normally have to install.

So far so good....only thing that may make me jump ship is the SIP freeze

Try flashing to appropriate stock rom here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36062

then re-flash grooveROM

Groove, can you please check this to see what has changed? I know before you could go to Start/Settings/Personal/Phone, then there would be a tab for Advanced. There you could do/change settings for Time Synchronization, Auto Prepend, etc. I don't see it here in this build. Thank you.

Hey Groove - gotta question? How do I get the green battery back? I went to a custom task bar, decided I like your original task bar better... so I went to uninstall the custom task bar and I'm back to the stock battery! Is there a way I can get that green battery back that has the percentage?? THANKS!!
