Re: [04-26-09] MysteryROM 3 [Rhodium Manila All Carriers] (CE OS 5.2.21043 Build 2104

I tried to install the Rhodium ROM and had all sorts of problems. I was running MightyROM, so I cleared storage, flashed back to stock Telus, cleared storage again. Then I flashed the Rhodium ROM from internal storage, it flashed however when the phone started up again it made it to customization, the customization ran then the phone rebooted and then it started all over again as if it was a first run. The customization ran, it rebooted and started all over again. It kept looping like that until I turned it off.

I then flashed back to stock from the bootloader, cleaned storage, and tried flashing Mystery ROM using my computer. It flashed correctly, phone started up, then I did a clear storage but the end result was way unstable, I could not get ActiveSync to work properly (kept getting an insufficient memory to sync error) and the keyboard crashed it repededly.

I finally flashed back to stock since I needed to have a functional phone.

Yes, I'm not having this issue any more but in the ROM I just release there in no Rhodium I might add it in the next release though.

Don't know what is wrong, usually flashing to your Stock ROM than Flashing to mines and doing a clear storage fixes all this issues.

Very nice...I like the new splash screen. Everything seems to be working so far. There is one thing that I don't care for...How can I turn off that taskbar notication thing. I have seen this on other ROM too. I have to close it ever time I finish a call. It not bad...its not my cup of tea.

And what is flashlight?

I tried it again and it went better, but ActiveSync is still an issue. Whenever I try to sync I get error code 85010013. I did some searching on Google and found that this is security related. Specifically I found the following suggestions:

Quote:
- The "Device not provisioned" is causing it, and more specifically the Remote Wipe functionality. Assuming that your organisation isn't willing to not implement this on every phone containing business data, a workaround is needed."
- this error comes if the DeviceEncryption.dll and its related registry entries are missing.
- That problem may exist if the developer has removed Enterprise from the ROM. Those modules are needed for the Exchange syncingSome people wrote me an PN that the problem is:
- this error comes if the DeviceEncryption.dll and its related registry entries are missing.

Any idea?
