Why cant i figure this stuff out. I click the link to download the upgrade and I try to save it to a folder but it asked me what to open it with.....IE or Opera?????

Am i doing something wrong?

OH and yes im a nubie.

What are you talking about, you can't download the ROM?? Don't know what you mean by "upgrade."

what do i do after a click your link? do I save it or just click open?

And I have no idea what I'm talking about. I've read many forums about new ROMs but I havent had success with flashing.

I think he need to get winrar to extract the ROM.

My next question for him would be, does he have his phone unlocked?

Download this program install it and it will extract the rom for you, but have you unlocked your phone?

Sounds like you're not ready to do this, have you even unlocked your phone?

I'm not being nasty, just don't want you to brick your phone, I've been there when I first started this myself.

When you download it you click save file and from there you choose were you want to save it. But before flashing your phone make sure it is unlock, which my guess will be that its not. Go to this link before Flashing it. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36062

Ok I downloaded your program for RAR and I tried to do the ROM. I get a tri-colored screen on my phone and up top is says System Unlocked so I guess its unlocked.

I tried to run the ROM but it wont work.

What am i doing wrong now?
