Phone issues after flashing

I recently flashed my wife's Diamond with Juicy's ROM (Juicy_4_4_Victor.rar), and I installed TF3D Config, and applied a theme.

She just called me, and told me her phone is acting buggy. She can't access her Call History, her Today screen is unresponsive, and her clock, whenever she turns on the screen, flips around crazily until it lands (and stays) on 12:59.

However, she was able to phone and text me (although there's something wrong with her text message reception as well).

What is the best course of action? Flash the phone again from scratch?

I would personally re-flash. If you continue to have issues maybe try another ROM (just to verify that it is not your phone.

Did you do a hard reset before/after flashing? General rule of thumb is to do a hard reset both before and after flashing ROMs, because it eliminates the possibility of anything interfering with the flashing and also helps avoid any odd problems that could be cause by residual third party application data.

But as for now, I would say backup everything, re-flash, be sure to hard reset before and after, install TF3D config, apply the theme, and then restore from backup. See if that helps. Also be sure you're only using one theme, and not changing anything else that has to do with the theme, some themes require certain files to be just right and if you install other things that modify anything with the theme on top of them, problems start to happen.

That could be the issue - I applied a theme, but then I ran a NoCurtains cab, and the Crystal Clock. So, that's a bad idea?

Re: Phone issues after flashing

Could I avoid re-flashing the phone and just take away the Crystal Clock/NoCurtains, or unload the theme? Or would that still leave behind possible issues?

Possibly, but usually whenever I had a problem with the clock, even uninstalling and re-installing the theme didn't help, but mine were always stuck on 0:00 or 00:00, doesn't hurt to try, only thing that will happen is that it won't work right still.

Re: Phone issues after flashing

If you didnt do a hard reset or clear starage after flashing there is your problem. If you did then you probably had a bad flash and you should reflash. There is no known conflict with crystal clock and no curtains, I have both on this phone I am typing on right now.
