It's true. I do have a wm 6.5 rom, but it's not even close to be ready for a release. Calcu, Tobey or Conflipper will likely be the ones to make a stable version possible.

SOHKis has a 6.5 diamond rom here:

haha, i have had 6.5 for a while now, 6.5 is my current daily rom, I have the new PIE working, with the buttons on the botttom of screen, I have gfx that are resized to a proper 192 dpi, it is very fast at this time. I have the sliding dialer working for calls.

only reason nothing is out at this time, is because of microsoft.

i as well am running 6.5

have been for a while as well.

release at this point is useless unless you want to release garbage.

and id have to say conflipper my self or juicy will probably be the first with 6.5 seeing as conflipper is always the first to get his hands on anything. its going to be him via educated guess

all of the chefs are making great roms. Personally, I still like Juicy's and I am still using Juicy 4.4.
