Few Question about Dialer and TouchFlo 3D

Guys

I recently upgraded the rom on my Htc Diamond. Not sure which one a picked but i have 2 concern

1) The Slide to Answer feature take for ever to actually answer the call and 90% of time lead to a miss call. Any fix for that.

2) Also my TouchFlo 3D keeps going into this sleep phase where it say "Tap to Launch TouchFlo". Anything to stop it from doing that?
