Alltel Diamond on Verizon

I've browsed these forums as well as howardforums and was unable to find what I'm looking for. I know there's ways to get Sprint Diamonds on VZW, but what about Alltel Diamonds? Is it the same process? I feel like since Verizon acquired Alltel, it'd be easier to activate an Alltel phone on Verizon? Maybe I'm just stupid, haha. Any help or success stories would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Re: Alltel Diamond on Verizon

I couldn't find any information about activating an Alltel branded Diamond on Verizon on that thread? That was about getting a Sprint branded Diamond on Alltel.
Thanks for responding though!

Finally, a straight up answer! I've been trying to figure that out for days. Thanks so much!

And in that case, the thread you linked to is exactly what I need! So thanks again

Re: Alltel Diamond on Verizon

I found a guy selling a Sprint Diamond who's willing to set it up for use with Verizon... does that sound shady? Or should I do it myself?

Re: Alltel Diamond on Verizon

Outside of the ESNs, it should be the same process as it's veirtually the exact same phone.

Re: Alltel Diamond on Verizon

I'd think you could use *228 option 3. Even though its not in the database, going through the programming this way seems to add it to the database. If a sprint phone isn't in the database and *228/3 gets it working, I don't see why an Alltel phone would not work unless Verizon specifically blocks Alltel ESNs.
