Yup. It doesn't. It worked on a single attempt for me and hasn't worked since. I am pretty sure that DaryelV will be releasing an update that has a fix in it.

The XBMod thread over at XDA got a sweet new update ;

I'll probably be uploading an update pretty soon.

I have not been very satisfied with the look of the weather tab, I think the regular VGA weather tab still looks cleanest and best, so I've stuck with it for now. The HD Weather just seems "busy" on a VGA screen. It's been very time consuming playing with this tab.

Other updates... I've done the xboxmod 1.8.5 update and CFC compression. There's a problem on the homepage with the Sprint clock so I've been using a flip clock and slightly modified the Alarm on it (removed it unless there's an Active alarm).

Everything has been working while I've been testing the past few days. I've removed some of the green artifacts that were still in place and replaced with grey and/or transparent.

I'll most likely just upload an OEM version for the ROM cookers out there. Installing Manila via CAB really shouldn't be recommended in my view.

Updated Feb 5 to version 1.5...
Updated using xboxmod's 1.8.5 as a base.
Multiple Appointments show on home page
Replaced Sprint Clock with Flip Clock (transparent w/ white numbers)
Removed "Touch Diamond" Operator Logo
Removed "Alarm" on home page when no active alarms.
Comm Mgr and Sound Profile tabs now use a "SettingsTab.mode9" file instead of "Settings.mode9".
Continue to use VGA Weather (w/ 5 day detail separate) because it just "looks" right

Seriously, though... couldn't turning that on/off be a setting somewhere. I'm practically in a relationship with that logo.

You should add that the size with compression is significantly smaller. Or some such thing in good geektechese.
