There is no difference. You might find that the #777 connection name changes... but it can be anything and it won't make a difference.
If it works for one Carrier, it should work for all carriers. The only thing that might change are carrier specific applications like Sprint TV or Telus Nav.

And why my roms are now built with an option of "No Sprint Apps and no mms". You can flash my full rom on telus, but sprint tv would drive you crazy at the bar, because it just wouldn't work. No matter how many shots you had!

I'm currently rocking grooveROM 4, but in the past I've flashed to Mighty, Juicy, Conflipper, Juggalo, Calkulin, and FuFu. I used the stock ROM for about a week (which sucked) before I got the courage up to flash for the first time, and I've also used a ROM that I cooked myself (which sucked even more) to try out Manila2 (which will most definitely NOT suck). They have all worked fine for me on Telus without having to change anything.

I finally caved in and used Calc's kitchen. Most stable fastest rom I've used to date. If it didn't have the random 5 second lag it would be perfect. All roms seem to have that right now though.
I also have AMAZING battery life, but that was more trial and error with S2U2 settings and other startup options.
