RSTG - I have not been able to extract 1.6.08 - Buuf - I've tried two different extraction programs and I get an error right at the end with both of them. Anyone else having trouble?

Also, I've been trying to find a step-by-step post on adding FM Radio, but no luck so far. I just have learned that the drivers have to be cooked in - can't be added or cabbed later. Anyone know of a step-by-step that's avaliable?

I'll check it when I get home...late tonight. In the meantime you can download the regular rom, install the .cab that trident provided and you'll have it. That's basically how I did it... And the fm radio, I'll read that monterous thread on monday and see if I can get it working.

i dunno why he's trying to extract it ........ its a .cab just put it on the phone and install it ...... worked for me im running them buttons right now after grabbing them a minute ago

It was the rar'ed ROM I couldn't extract, not the cab...and I'm a not a he.

ah sorry ..... I thought you was just trying to get the icons my bad I downloaded the ROM and havent tried yet lets see if it fails for me too

ok Dreading I just unrared it fine extracted it right out the RUU folder came out clean ..... try redownloading it

So far, so good. Fast, stable, fun and pretty - I haven't found any bugs so far and I'm thrilled with the ROM. All I need is that FM radio and the gyrating/flipping/screen changing program of my choice and I'll be set for awhile.
