Ok? I'm as tough as a box of nails, and with a tornado warning, severe thunderstorm warning for 2 hours last night, didn't see a drop of rain. I think the folks at the national weather service here probably ain't running this rom... lol...

On to time update issues from this morning. If you'all are having trouble with your phone time zone being off, open your dialer, select Menu-Options... then select the Services Tab, find and select Time Synchronization, click get setttings. Uncheck the "Time synchronize with mobile network automatically". Otherwise everytime your phone updates the time with the network, it'll change it on ya... I'm working on this issue now, but I think it's a network thing...

I did have this trouble and I just went settings (Clock & Alarms) I tried that route and then I read your comment on the issue and tried it and for some reason it keeps putting me 1 hour ahead, I'm Eastern Time it sets me to Atlantic Time ? I Just wanted to let you know, this is the First Issue that I have ever had. THX

same thing here. but it looks like he has already fixed this as per his changelog in post 2. I'm waiting to flash!!

Run this .cab, then open your dialer. Click menu-options.... Select services tab, time synchronization, click settings and uncheck box. Click ok, set your time zone and you should be ok....

Where is "menu-options" ? Or does this fix actually work? I installed the .cab on clean and I am still be switched from Mountain to Central time on reboot.

Update: just noticed time-zone issue being discussed in Calcu's ROM/Kitchen thread, looks like it's a Sprint issue: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...44494&page=302

Also, I preferred the top bar icons from your older 1.X versions. Would there be an easy way to get those back - any files I could install?

Hit the send key to open your dialer. From there click the right softkey "menu", then options...
