Looks like we've got 1 for, and 1 against so far. How about I conjur up a voice that matches the activesync sounds that saiz, "Device is Starting up"? Or something like that...

what startup sound? i just hear voices.....thats what my shrink says:) i vote neutral as I usally have my phone on vibrate....

Talking sounds are kewl. I happen to really like your yoda start up sound (I am old enough to remember seeing Return of the Jedi in the theater...but not old enough to sit quitly in the theater for the first 2)....

anyway...if you are searching for any inspiration i have attached a zip file with some sounds i thought might be neat...listening to them brought back good memories.

*edit* but by no means i am saying use them...just there for your enjoyment
