well i did like the gritty beat ringtone, that's just the one i always used. is there a way to just add that one back? i know your trying to free up all the memory u can. if not i can just download something off the net. no biggie
also i just noticed that your going to delete the voice command feature, may i ask why?? that's another feature that i myself think comes in handy. if u do delete it do u know where i can get a cab for it?? i know your trying to make a ROM that kinda suits many ppl, so im not complaining.

Check out post #2 for some enhancements. This is updated as I change them... I'll test this new build today and see if I've improved the battery life. If it's good, I'll upload a new version tonight.

cool. really like this rom. I checked out the thread you posted regarding the data shut off feature. It looks like they have refined this a good bit. My only concern would be if push email would be affected by this. in my battery testing on your rom, I have noticed that in normal usage (active sync set for push email, multiple data sessions, texting, I would say moderate usage) I am seeing about 10% battery loss per hour approximately not counting the initial drop after unplugging. the battery meter is still not providing an accurate figure though. I noticed that I was charging yesterday and it went from 77% to 100%, then unplugged and it went down to 88% in about a minute. last night charged it all night while turned off and after unplugging it went down to 91% in about 2 minutes so I think it's a little off with the initial reading. I have noticed similiar results with other roms as well but less obvious since they are not using 1% battery increments. Just wanted to send you my highly scientific and iso certified results Have a great day.

Thanks for the data, that sort of stuff I can understand! Battery life on this this is still poor, but I'm currently testing a tweak that hopefull improve this annoyance. Good results so far... I've also asked another chef to see if they can comfirm this for me. (The Myth Busters are currently unavailable)

As you all know I was testing something wonderful that greatly extended the battery life of this rom.
GREAT THING:
It worked well!

BAD THING:
You couldn't answer a call. Then when you tried you couldn't get back online without a soft reset.

Summation:
I'm going to the bar, update in the morning without the battery enhancement, but with the ringers back...This one just didn't cut the mustard guys and gals...

Was working with 1.3 and having a lot of problems with crashing and getting use to the differences between my original sprint firmware and this one. I've upgraded to 1.5.13 and already it feels a lot smoother. Somehow the previous version had a g-alarm set for 6am every morning and I was always so half-awake every morning I assumed I just dreamed the different alarm interface and continued to think it was some hidden build in alarm. Anyhoo, 10 seconds after upgrading I noticed the program g-alarm and it looked a lot like what I remember from my reoccurring 6am nightmare... so that problem is solved.

I'm actually just posting to ask a simple diamond question... I use to be able to hold down the call button and it would activate the voice input mode, but now it turns the screen landscape and screws all the graphics up.

Where did the voice input command go?

yeah u have to go into setting/personal/buttons and chnage it manually. rstoy was going to remove the feature from the rom to free up some memory but per my request he is going to leave it in. i find it handy also.

Is the telenav software "modified" or is it going to block me out in 3 days like the original sprint demo? (unless I hard reset again...)

Now all I need is some way to disable the forced pin from my company's exchange rules. Then I might stop secretly hating my phone and it'll be like our first week together all over again
