Most any ROM will list what providers they are for. PPCGEEKS is CDMA and XDA is generally GSM. If in doubt, ask the fine people in the thread where it is located.

Generally, putting a GSM CE rom on your phone will just cause it to fail to boot. Far from a brick.

I agree, but I still prefer to do my homework, and research, before I start throwing stuff on my phone that I don't know what does. Just my two cents. I have found it's best not to tempt fate, it "could" result in a brick. Thankfully, this individual did not.....................
