Please help....

I have a HTC diamond and I replaced the rom with "DIAMIMG-WWEHD", the ROM upgrade was successful, but the phone did not start, Its starting and I am geting the Touch Diamond screen and then its restarts again.

I tired to restore with the vol down, center button and power button, Its shows restore...completed but when I boot I get the start screen and the phone restarts again.

Have I bricked by phone, is there a way to recovery.

Please help

Re: Please help....

try putting the phone into triggered bootloader mode -- i would search the forums for that term -- and flash the phone with a DIFFERENT rom than the one you just tried.

Which ROM were you trying to install originally?

I tired finding the ROM name so that I will post in ROM specific thread, but I was not able to get the ROM. All I have is the rar file I downloaded it called "DIAMIMG-WWEHD.rar"

That is a GSM rom and that is why it will not boot.

That's what I thought. It didn't sound like any of these that I had used before. Yeah, you can't put a GSM ROM on a CDMA phone. It will brick your phone. Please do some research before you start throwing stuff on the phone. It will help you ALOT in the long run.

The ROM does not specifically say if its GSM or CDMA
