i checked htc site today because i had to update, and it's listed as updated 4/3/09
Version 2.00.651.7

so...probably pretty much nothing knew over the .1

actually it looks like they finally posted the rom upgrade based off this leaked rom. so this must be the official one of sorts. the version number changed slightly so who knows. I am going to flash it to see what is different with opera, s tv, and anything else. Nice find. I posted a thread to update others but asked people to thank you for this. Nice job.

sure looks like it. the version number has changed slightly from .1 to .7. I going to flash it now to see if there are any changes from the original leaked rom. cool stuff.

I flashed the new ROM on HTC's website and so far all is well. I decided to manually reinstall all my apps instead of restoring from backup.

Original ROM: 1.09.651.5
New ROM: 2.00.651.7

It change from .1 1st Leak to .6 2nd Leak and .7 Official and they are all different.

Official one has daylight sayings time fix among a few other things.

why did they rebuild there rom couldnt they just supply the cabs for it ???
they should come up with something called smart cabs , a cab file that can remove keys put in the new keys needed for system rom updtes and so on.
because its pretty damn stupid to start over on your phone just because of some bug fixes -- yeah back everything up bla bla its still stupid-lol
