Rock;

Post that issue in the Juicy ROM thread...your more likely to get an answer to your problem there, than you are here.

Perhaps you should know the subject a little better before making snide comments. In light of the OP, the advice was ridiculously obvious.

anyways, I am a big believer in sharing & helping others to here it goes OP...

after cooking your rom, open your .nbh in any hex editor. Attached is a free one.

once you have opened the .nbh, do a ctrl+G (if using the attached app), click on hexadecimal, then enter address 004D4E34, this is about where the rom version begins. you can change it here then save & flash.
Ew. That's messy on so many levels. I'll stick to my solution.

The whole (though very confused) point of this thread was making your own kitchen. This obviously isn't possible for most people, and for those who want to try, the best bet is to learn how to use Dogguy's script with Mamaich and Tadzio's imgfs tools. Once you've done that, learn more about batch and command scripts, or even more complex languages.

Please close this thread!

Not exactly. The question was how to make a specific modiication. The guy needed to reduce to a kitchen to get to a solution, but that is incidental.

No. Dogguy for making a base is fine (sort of). Bepe for building is not fine. PPCkitchen is hands down better at building a ROM. Not that you can't do it using Bepe, it just is more cumbersome and has some serious quirks. It's the quirks that make it a poor choice for everyone, novice and expert alike. Add in PPCkitchen's additional features to the mix and it's a no brainer as to which people should use. The question(s) postulated in this thread being a good example.
