Let me be up front since some individuals seem to be sensative to this subject. My intent is not to steal/rob or in anyway take away credit from anyone. I have no intentions of distributing a rom I have cooked without giving proper credit to the original designer which ironically, is HTC.

I am using Calcu's Kitchen for the Touch Pro. I do know that the OEMVERSION folder has the .proxml that changes the rom/image/ what ever name. The problem is that when i go to flash the rom is still brings up his version information as the new rom but I know it changes it to a degree because if I already have a rom flashed that I cooked, my version will show up as the old version. So how do I fully remove calcu's version information?

So is there no way to do this?? ^^^

It's in the xip. You gotta dump the xip, edit the registry, and rebuild xip, then insert into payload. Calcu will likely tell you how to do it if you ask him nice. Also, are you sure you are referring to rom version, and not aku version? I think that Calcu has only edited aku version in his xip, but maybe that's changed. But really, you should just ask Calcu.

...oh, and don't forget to donate to Calcu too.

Thanks but I got my answer awhile ago. I was only refering to what you see when you start the flash process where it shows the image already flashed and the image you are going to flash. The AKU/build that you see in the settings/system/about is something else (got that answer as well now) and not what I had originally inquired about.

I could/should have asked Calcu. In all honesty I am not really sure why I didn't lol. I guess because I was trying to find the answer without asking first, found this thread and didn't see the full answer to my question so posted the question since it seemed relevant.
