roms and battery life

Hopefully receiving my Diamond today.. battery life is most important to me ,do any of the roms on the forum focus more on battery life or do they all use similar reg tweaks/fixes/power schemes...

Most (if not all) of the custom ROMs will help your battery life. Upgrading the radio will help a lot also.
