It's pretty easy. Just a warning... My radio flash for that version stalled out for like 30+ seconds at 99% and scared the crap out of me. I just waited it out and it went great!

I think all the radio roms are now packaged with the Custom RUU so you should be okay. Just flash like normal and it'll go to the tri-color screen, then u see the % bar and it'll get stuck at 99% for a bit and it'll soft reset.

Read the sticky in the Diamond Upgade section. It's pretty easy but it is not safe if you mess it up by not completing the flash.

Just a mild warning; more of a heads-up, really... My radio flash for that version stalled out for like 30+ seconds at 99% and scared the crap out of me. I just waited it out and it went great!

Thanks!
It won't work for you from the outside unless you open your workstation up to the internet by placing it in the outer DMZ of your router (which also opens you up to more attacks). Remote desktop is used generally if you are on your network and want to connect to another Windows based device (like a server) on the same network.

Or you can use dyndns dot com. It lets you assign a free web address that always points towards you dynamically changing IP address.
My dLink router even has a page to auto refresh with the website when normally you just need to install thir windows client.
All I do is set my router to virtual server or port forward like 3 or 4 ports: router admin page; ftp admin page; and ftp access. I have also set up port forwarding for Remote Desktop in the same way but I don't need to anymore because RescoExplorer has a deisel ftp plugin.

Thank you for your explanation, which means I couldn't access my home computer from office with my cell phone. Then the remote desktop mobile is not useful at all.

Re: [12-18-08] Juicy ROM 4.3 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]

Still no glitches with this ROM. I guess maybe I'm just lucky, but I have not experienced any of the problems that others are mentioning. My wife also has a diamond and I just flashed her over to 4.3 so I'll have to running devices to test.

Oh I guess I did run into one thing. The first time I logged onto Sprint Navi it took forever (2 mins +) to get a gps lock.

This is a tight little ROM. The speed is obviously the big perk, but think we shouldn't down play the stability either.

If there is anything that might make this ROM better and I think "better" is somewhat subjective, it would be changing out to the TF3D from the HD and Dialer from the Opal/Jade.

Not sure else what I would really like to see.

Thanks Juicy!
