[REMOVED] Juicy ROM 4.4 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]

I've noticed something dramatic once i installed this rom.... the signal has gone down dramatically. I know that at my house i had very good service.. literally after flashing, the service has decreased a lot.

Is this possible with flashing a rom? btw I'm on stock radio and never flashed to a new radio.

Thanks for the reply. And I agree that this ROM is great, but I'd like to [try]/[help Juicy] to get to the root of this problem. I use my phone to text more than anything else so having to retype the beginning of nearly 1/3rd of my messages gets quite annoying.

I just flashed the radio ROM as posted by rileyd5, and it updated fine. Its a soft reset, so all my stuff was still there after flashing, the only difference is the radio. Im going to keep an eye on my signal tomorrow, see if its significantly different than with the previous radio.
Also, flashed to juicy 4.3, looks great. crazy fast in touch flo. Cheers Juicy!

odd, i dont see how the rom could have anything to do with it. my service is the same. maybe its a local issue your having on sprints end?

maybe... but its odd b/c right b4 i had full service, now i'm bouncing between half and 2 bars... I mean its possible that its network related.. Im having huge problems with sending texts and receiving them.

Anyways, Juicy, this ROM is awesome... Thanks SO MUCH for all the work and time you put into these...

I have found no bugs, GPS works great, all my programs work well with no problems, and it now only takes 20 minutes to reinstall all my programs and restore all my old stuff

S2U2 does pretty much work awesome on this rom as well... it's slick :P I am also having the first letter thing though... it's not too annoying for me, but for anyone who is a large texter, I could see how this could be a problem.

I am having a few weird battery readings though... maybe its because of the new battery drivers since 3.9... it hasn't gotten a full discharge and charge since I updated, so that could be the problem... I will post back in a few days with more results.

Ok...after some research...my problem with QuickGPS not downloading is fixed...

Start -> Settings -> Phone -> Services -> Location Service needs to be on...

I set it...can download right away...

I stand corrected; flashed to 4.2 and 4.1 clean and MMS is hit or miss. Seems like it's related to the data connection somehow; if I use comm manager to reset the data connection it will sometimes start working.

UPDATE:

Tried 4.3 again; hangs on MMS composer window every time regardless of how many times I reset the data connection. 4.1 seems to have the best results.
