Re: [12-09-08] Juicy ROM 4.1 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]

Thanks for the update Juicy, I haven't noticed any difference between 4.0 and 4.1.
I guess I haven't used anything related to what you've altered.

Did you include the Dshow thing you were talking about for this release?

I do enjoy the swipe scrolling in the newer WinMo build. Thanks for that.
It Was getting very irritating with the lack of this in earlier builds.

x2, I don't think he did, but hopefully in 4.2. I believe DShow is a system file or something and we have it in ours, but this version doesn't allow decent playback of streaming movies.

I had to return the phone back, they gave me a new one since it was less than 30 day I had the phone.

After 2 days I had my second phone, I flashed the latest Juicy rom which specified the GPS worked on it and boom, the phone exploded in my hands... Naw kidding, it worked perfectly.

The first Diamond I hot was full of bugs and random freezes, once I got rid of this one, I never had any other problems with it!
Thats what I was think, she's going back

4.1 seems the same as 4.0 (except now it says 4.1 instead of 3.10 in device info )

And the 3 bugs I reported in 4.0 are still there:

Dont know why ##RUN## is so important so I cant help you there.

Dont know what direction its supposed to transition to each email account but when i flip my finger to the right, the account flies out to the right. Seems fine to me.

The wheel does stay on on those two settings but none of the others did, once again, not sure why this is a big deal.

Re: [12-09-08] Juicy ROM 4.0 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]

I will try 4.1 tonight to see if it fixes this bug...
In 4.0 (I installed last night), when texting people, and using T9... when a word show up above the keypad that I want to choose, the directional pad doesn't always work. VERY RANDOM sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. So if I press right to chose the word, nothing happens. If I delete the last character type it again and hit right again it comes back. Sometimes I have to do this a few times before the directional pad works again.
I generaly use the compact keyboard with T9.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Not had the problem but I usually just select the word that I want with my finger instead of using the directional pad.

Its more like bad habit... but it gets annoying when I am trying to get to see the next 4 words to choose from as I can't just touch the word I want.

Also, when it the picture Album and other times when I scroll with many things on the screen, it seems to get very choppy... not nearly as smooth as the Alltel ROM. But when I use the Alltel ROM and swipe the pictures in touch flo 3D to view the next picture,... Touch Flo crashes after quickly going through 4 to 6 pictures with the Alltel ROM. With Juicy 4.0 I can get through at least twice as many pictures before it crashes.

I also used to get many errors (program crashes, send to MS) a day with 6.1 (Touch or Touch Diamond) and never got one with 6.0 (Touch). I have only played with Juicy 4.0 for a few hours last night but have not 'yet' had one error. If this keeps up, Juicy makes more stable ROMs then HTC/Alltel. Not sure if anyone else has as many problems with 6.1 ROM built by the service provider.

I have found 2 things Juicy. Cannot multy select items...for example emails..you want to select a bunch and it will not allow you to do so.
the other one is a weird one. If you go to file explore and you go where you have you pictures saved and click on one. It will open for a second and another one will pop up!!! It will not let you open the one you want........Pretty annoying. Other than that Rom is pretty nice.=D>
