I have to admit that I did not hard reset after I originally flashed. I'll start from scratch to see how it goes.

Do you have any suggestions about the streaming vid from Orb.com? I really like to be able to use orb so I'd love for a good fix.

I'm working on getting a new DShow that has better video playback.

If your phone beeps or whatever, try soft resetting it.

My phone initially beeped after I had checked it an hour before at 5 bars.... it was then showing a single orange bar.

I soft reset and bam! 4bars ... after switching kernels/new battery drivers the device seems to take a few charges to have a "true" reading of the battery.

I just threw mine on the charger after a reset because I lost 4 bars of battery in no time. I didn't check the battery after the reset though. I'm done with the phone for a while anyway.

Next time, I'll reset and see...

you will likely get a ****ty charge for tomorrow as well, as the phone may be identifying a "false" bottom to the battery meter (i.e. it may thing that 40% capacity is 0%). Try it tomorrow when it beeps.

Would it be possible to also provide a .cab fix or a fix without reflashing, everything on 4.0 is great except I miss Orb's video playback.

From what I've read dshow has to be built into the ROM, but I could be wrong.
