Redbox locator for diamond

I'm not a developer or anything like that but I had an idea for a program. How bout being able to locate the nearest Redbox from your gps wouldn't that be great. I know there are some smart people on this forum and I wouldn't think it would be too hard to do, you can go on the internet and find the nearest redbox with your zip code so why not? It'd be pretty cool if someone could make this happen. It'd be even cooler if it told you what movies or new releases where at that particler redbox too and maybe allow you to pre order them too right from your phone. What do you all think, can someone make this happen? I would have put this in the most interesting apps sticky but I wanted it front page for more eyes.

Ya that would be neat for those of us who use red box. I've already tried locating them with Live Search and it never finds results. I just use opera mini and go to the website. but an app would simplify this!

Cmon, you know... the big red box that rents movies that started popping up at McDonalds, then all kinds of other places. Pretty good only 1$ a day for a new release movie. I don't know if they're anywhere outside of the states cause I've never been anywhere else.

Absolutely love Redbox. They're mostly in grocery stores around here (Boston), but I know they are elsewhere in the country for sure. This website sends out an email each week with the latest promo code good for one free rental.

You have to register with them by giving your email address, but I haven't gotten any spam at all (from them at least). Every Monday, you'll receive the URL to this week's code. Very nice. Either way, it's only a buck to rent. Definitely worth it.

there are a bunch of them here in Providence as well. i pretty much have all the movies they do, but I'll check them out.

Try searching in google maps for redbox, or well any other movie store/blockbuster when your GPS is on.
